Campaign Against the 3G Mobile Phone Mast Planning Application

On the 21st December 2005, I received notice from Dave Prince the Barnet Area Planning Manager that the permission for the mast had been refused.
A big THANK-YOU to the 400 people who signed the petition or wrote objection letters.
Considering we had just one volunteer (yours truly!) and just 10 days to organise, the 400 signatures is indicative of the massive local opposition to this application.
There are several courses now open to T-Mobile. They could:-
1. Appeal against the Council's decision
2. Move the proposed site by a few metres and submit a new application
3. Install the mast anyway, but at a reduced height to bypass planning laws
4. Seek a more suitable location
Therefore we must remain vigilant and be prepared to do it all over again.
